About Quinn

While I could use this space to tell you all the boring, professional stuff, that’s not what you’re really here for, is it?

I started writing my first novel on a dare in 2008. My friend was sick of me “wasting my talent” writing how-to articles. But hey, I had to do something to fill in the gaps in between  auto insurance transcription gigs. That year, I signed up for NaNo and my hard drive crashed on the 14th. I’m not bitter or anything.

In 2011, I decided to try again, and this time I not only finished, but that project eventually became my first published book after a ton of work. Coincidentally, it’s also the book I told my future BFF was the worst thing I’d ever written the first time we talked and she told me she loved that book.

Have I mentioned I’m not always smooth?

In 2015, I made the shift to LGBTQ romance, partly as I started to explore my own identity. Not something that’s easy to do when you’re almost forty, but that was the start of living authentically.

After eight years in North Carolina, I’m happy to be home, but sad I somehow haven’t picked up a gig driving the Zamboni up here. Maybe someday…

My books are filled with small-towns, found families, and emotional second chances because almost everyone deserves a second chance to get it right.
